Net+

So, I took my CompTIA Network+ test yesterday and passed with a score of 758. It's only 84% but, hey, it's passing. In addition, I'm one of about 15 kids in Virginia who's Net+ certified. Win.

Questions about studying methods? Which textbook to use? Good review CDs? Have trouble remembering things and need a funny way to recall all of that information? Drop a comment.

  3. Congrats bro. Nice blog too! I personally can't give any advice regarding studying habits in particular for this material but congratulations anyway.

My advice of course is only general from my attempted learning of Java. Find a decent way to practice the difficult parts ad nauseam, and do it.

  4. you considering ccna/ccent? It's going to be more viable in the long run, especially with the subsidized pricing offered for cisco certified techs.

  5. I'd have to concur Dan. I'm working towards certs such as the CCNA and MSCE. Unfortunately, you still can't do much without a college degree, and I've yet to break out of high school.
